God Rejoices over YOU!!!

as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee. (Isaiah 62:5)

Isaiah 66

1. Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

2. For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord; but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Prayer (verses 3 and 4): Lord, let me not choose my own way, and my soul delight in that abomination, because you will choose my delusion and bring my fear upon me. When you call, let me answer and when you speak let me hear. Let me not do evil before your eyes and choose that which you delight not in.

From Mommie to Me!

This is the word that God gave to my mother when she was going to have me, and I guess she used it when she was going to have my brother as well :-)

And the good mommie that she is, she passed it on/down to me… so that I can use it when I have my baby :-)

It’s found in 1 Timothy 2:15:

Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

It’s a conditional promise… and I pray to God that I will be able to continue as He requires, so that He will fulfil His word!

How God Works!

I came across this verse while I was simply leafing through the pages of my Bible, and it spoke volumes to me…

I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.   Ecclesiastes 3:14

Our God is an eternal God; therefore, all that He does is eternal; permanent; for ever. Solomon knew this, and wrote it down, and so must we – we must know it and believe it! And thank God that He allows us to experience such things as well! He is God; He alone is God, and there is none beside Him, and only He can do such things, and work in such ways. Nothing or no one can alter that which He has done.

Also, what God does is perfect – nothing need be added to it or subtracted from to make it better. Nothing can be! This is because He is a perfect God, and He will give/do unto His children those things that are perfect – in His perfect timing! For how can He who gave us His only begotten Son, hold back any good thing from us? That which He gives unto us will make us rejoice, and there will be no sorrow added to it.

Lastly, we must remember that our God always works with a purpose – an eternal and perfect purpose – working out His will in our lives – everyday and every second of everyday of our lives! He works so that we, ultimately, are transformed into the image of His Son. He also works so that others will see and believe!

Good News!!!

Some really good news actually :-)

We’re having a baby…

and I cant wait to see God fulfil the word that He gave me :-)

Well, for more on that… you guys will have to wait till the 1st week of next year (09), cos that is when the baby is arriving…

However, the GOOD NEWS of the gospel has been there for the past 2,000+ years… which is that Jesus loves you.. a sinner.. and that God the Father sent His only begotten Son into the world to die for sinners like me and you. If we put our trust in Him we will be saved and have eternal life. Good deeds will get us nowhere… Religion will not help us… No human being or anyone or anything else can change our lives and our destinies. All we have to do is to accept the fact that we are sinners and ask Jesus to cleanse us with the precious blood that He shed on the cross of Calvary, and ask Him to come into our hearts and lives. He is alive and ready and willing to save even today… And His Holy Spirit will come to reside in us, helping us to live a life in accordance to His will and for His glory.

Yeah, I know…

its been a long time… quite a long time in fact…

I haven’t been blogging for various reasons… but among others, am glad to have been able to crack my username and password and get back into WP!!!

So here goes :-)

…great  was upon them…
